Fair has been home for nearly a week and a half now, and she is doing well! She is still very tender and sensitive on her left side, but her breathing hasn’t been affected hardly at all. She can’t do much of anything that would use a lot of lung power such as sports or singing, but she is able to walk around the house comfortably and get things for herself.
Last week there was a big snow storm and then a power outage in our area, so Fair went to stay with her grandparents for four days. But the power is back on now, and she is home again.
Because of the snow storm, Fair’s appointment at Texas Children’s in Houston had to be cancelled, but it has been rescheduled for this Thursday, the 25th. We look forward to hearing what they have to say and will let you know when we make a decision.
Right now, we are praising God for His provision and faithfulness. He has carried us through this far, and we believe He will continue to do so. Fair is so happy to be feeling well so soon after surgery and is hopeful that the next surgery wont be as bad as she expected. We ask for your continued prayers over whatever procedures are next and that Fair would bounce back just as well as she has this time.
Thank you again for all your prayers and support!
