We are continuously amazed at how well Fair has been recovering from her surgery. Her surgeon did a wonderful job in removing the cancer, and consequently, she is having little pain and breathing very well. I am with Fair right now. She is sleeping. Naturally she is experiencing pain but it is being managed well. It hurts to breathe but not near as bad as the lung biopsy back in July. The head surgeon said everything went really well and was less invasive than what they thought it might have to be. He feels confident all of the cancer is gone from the left lung. We are thankful. Fair is going to have surgery Monday to remove the cancer from her left lung. It will involve removing a rib as well so they can get to it. They’re going to freeze her ribs which is supposed to help with the pain. Fair has been continuing to feel better overall and has really been able to push her physical boundaries this week!  She’s gone on long walks, driven her car places, and even played volleyball with her siblings!  It is a blessing to see her doing so well!
